For this collection, Linda Causee has created 365 foundation-pieced blocks, one to represent every day of the year. A variety of themes is presented for each month. You'll find seasonal motifs, from a winter snowflake to a summer carousel. Holidays and special occasions, like the Beatles' first trip to America, are commemorated. There are classic blocks, hke Log Cabin, and new designs, including the Golden Gate Bridge and Chicago skyline. Each month also features different gemstone, flower, bird, house, basket, star, and pinwheel patterns.
You can combine the 7"x 7" blocks in anyway you like to make a variety of fabulous quilts. For

example, create stunning designs celebrating one or all of the months or seasons. Another idea is to use any of the theme blocks exclusively. You could design a lovely housewarming gift from the house patterns, or fashion a cheerful bird wall hanging for a kitchen that faces a garden. Try your hand at stitching pot holders, placemats, tote bags, or even garments.
Because foundation-pieced miniature quilts are SO easy to create, Causee has also provided several 3V2"x 3 V2'' blocks. They can be used separately, with larger blocks or even as borders.
