This is an unusual bool<. it reveals connections between seemingly unrelated things: scientific findings, everyday phenomena, creations of art and literature. The unifying concept is symmetry which is omnipresent in nature and human creations, and is one of science's most fundamental ideas.
Symmetry is a convenient and powerful aid. It has aesthetic appeal as well as practical utility.
