A complété history of man's theoretical efforts from the time of ancient Greece through the present to understand economic phenomena, History of Economie Analysis is an important contribution to the history of ideas as well as to économies. Afthough never fully completed, it has gained a réputation as a classic of its kind.
Schumpeter „was a historian, social scientist, philosopher, psycholo-gist, and mathematician as well as an economist, and the multidisciplin-ary contents of this book reveal the great scope of his project.
