Language in Use is a new course for learners of English at pre-intermediate level. It is intended for learners who have already studied somé English, either recently or somé time ago, and who now need to develop their overall competence before moving on to intermediate level.
The course has a dual syllabus, in which units dealing with vocabulary alternate with units focusing on grammar. This provides systematic exposure to the most important features of English at this level, as well as natural recycling of language in a variety of contexts throughout the course.
The learner's material consists of a Classroom Book and a Self-study Workbook, each with accompanying cassettes.
Language in Use offers pre-intermediate learners:

The Classroom Book contains 24 units, with revision and extension activities after every six units. The class work can be completed in around 80 hours, with additional time for the self-study work. Vissza
