Kernel Two Tests contains an Entry Test followed by four tests which can be used to discover how well students are learning from their Kernel Two course material.
The Entry Test covers language points from Kernel One Students' Book and may be used to ensure that students are ready to continue with Kernel Two without revision. Test A covers units 1—4 of Kernel Two Students' Book, Test B covers units 5—8 and Test C covers units 9—12. Test D covers the whole Kernel Two course.
The tests have a two-fold purpose. First, they are achievement tests and as such measure students' progress. Second, they may be used for diagnostic purposes.
