His Surrealistic style, in its suggestive power, reaches far beyond that of the Spaniard, Salvador Dall. It has much more of a germanic expresslonlstic strain. And that too is part of his inheritance, for he is like Albrecht Dürer, whose father also came from the Szekely stock. Like Dürer he reveals a fantasy which allies him with Bosch and Breughel. The technique of Szász is a combination of oil-varnlsh like that discovered by the Van Eycks. In its jewel-like colors, when it moves into the field of landscape, it reminds one of the best of the Tang dynasty Chinese masters.»
