Last year Stayman förmed his own team, which, having won the Spingold Trophy, was selected as the official United States team for the World Championship of 1955. Sámuel Stayman is a high-ranking life master of the American Contract Bridge League and Vice-President of the Cavendish Club, New York-one of the best known Bridge Clubs in the world.
